Blue Spirulina Lemonade for Weight Loss

A refreshing blue spirulina lemonade made with fresh lemon juice, water, and a light sweetener, perfect for hydration and supporting weight loss.

Ingredients

  • Fresh lemon juice (2 tablespoons)
  • Cold water or sparkling water (1 cup)
  • Blue spirulina powder (1/4 to 1/2 teaspoon)
  • Sweetener to taste (stevia, erythritol, or 1 teaspoon honey)
  • Ice cubes
  • Optional: pinch of sea salt or 1 teaspoon apple cider vinegar
  • Optional: fresh mint or cucumber slice

Instructions

  1. Juice the lemons into a measuring cup, aiming for about 2 tablespoons of juice per cup of water.
  2. Add sweetener to the lemon juice and stir until dissolved; taste and adjust sweetness.
  3. Pour the lemon-sweetener mix into a glass with water or sparkling water and stir gently.
  4. Sprinkle 1/4 teaspoon blue spirulina powder into the glass and whisk or shake vigorously for 15 to 30 seconds.
  5. Add ice cubes and optional mint or cucumber; allow the drink to chill for a minute.
  6. Taste and tweak if necessary before serving immediately.

Notes

Use stevia or erythritol for a low-calorie option. Adjust spirulina for color intensity and flavor.
