Canaan Honey Recipe

A simple honey-based tonic with lemon and spices inspired by Middle Eastern recipes, used to support weight loss efforts.

Ingredients

  • Raw honey (1 to 2 teaspoons)
  • Fresh lemon juice (1 tablespoon)
  • Warm water or herbal tea (6 to 8 ounces)
  • Ground cinnamon (1/4 teaspoon, optional)
  • Fresh ginger (a thin slice or 1/4 teaspoon grated, optional)
  • Apple cider vinegar (1 teaspoon, optional)

Instructions

  1. Warm the water or brewed herbal tea to about 120 to 130 degrees F. Pour 6 to 8 ounces into a mug.
  2. Add 1 to 2 teaspoons of raw honey and stir until fully dissolved.
  3. Squeeze in 1 tablespoon of fresh lemon juice and stir.
  4. Stir in 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon and, if using, a thin slice of fresh ginger.
  5. If desired, add 1 teaspoon apple cider vinegar and stir.
  6. Let the drink cool for 30 to 60 seconds to reach a pleasant sipping temperature, then sip slowly while warm.

Notes
