Canaan Honey Trick

A simple honey-and-warm-water remedy to support weight control and digestion, often enjoyed in the morning.

Ingredients

  • 1 teaspoon raw honey
  • 8 ounces (240 ml) warm water
  • 1/2 teaspoon fresh lemon juice (optional)
  • Pinch of ground cinnamon (optional)

Instructions

  1. Heat the water to a warm temperature, about 120 to 130 degrees F (50 to 55 degrees C).
  2. Pour 8 ounces of the warmed water into a cup.
  3. Add 1 teaspoon of raw honey to the cup and stir gently for about 10 to 15 seconds until the honey is dissolved.
  4. If desired, add 1/2 teaspoon of fresh lemon juice or a pinch of cinnamon and stir for another 5 seconds.
  5. Let the drink cool slightly if needed, then sip slowly for about 5 to 10 minutes.
  6. Clean your cup and spoon promptly to avoid sticky residue.

Notes

Use less honey to reduce sugar content. This drink should be enjoyed freshly made for the best flavor.
