Classic Pink Strawberry Gelatin

  • 1 package strawberry gelatin mix
  • 1 cup boiling water
  • 1 cup cold water
  • 1 cup fresh strawberries, chopped (optional)
  • Whipped topping for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Gather all necessary ingredients: strawberry gelatin mix, boiling water, cold water, and fresh strawberries.
  2. In a pot, bring 1 cup of water to a boil.
  3. In a mixing bowl, combine the boiling water with the strawberry gelatin mix. Stir until fully dissolved (about 2 minutes).
  4. Allow the mixture to cool slightly before adding 1 cup of cold water. Mix well.
  5. Chop fresh strawberries and fold them gently into the gelatin mixture.
  6. Pour the mixture into a mold or serving dish and refrigerate for at least 4 hours or until set.
  7. Once set, slice or scoop into servings and optionally top with whipped cream before serving.

Notes

For a low-calorie version, use a sugar-free gelatin mix. You can incorporate herbal teas instead of water for added flavor.
