Gut Healing Gelatin Tonic

A nourishing beverage that soothes the gut and supports weight loss with gelatin and natural flavors.

  • 2 tablespoons gelatin (grass-fed preferred)
  • 2 cups water
  • 12 tablespoons honey (or maple syrup for vegan option)
  • 1/4 cup fruit juice (optional, e.g., lemon or orange)
  • Herbs or spices (optional, e.g., ginger or cinnamon)

Instructions

  1. Gather your ingredients: gelatin, water, honey, and fruit juice.
  2. In a small pot, bring 2 cups of water to a gentle simmer over medium heat.
  3. Once the water is hot, sprinkle in 2 tablespoons of gelatin and stir continuously until fully dissolved (about 1-2 minutes).
  4. Remove from heat and stir in honey and fruit juice, if using.
  5. Pour into an airtight container or jars and let cool for 10 minutes before refrigerating.
  6. Chill in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours or until firm.
  7. Enjoy your tonic cold or at room temperature.

Notes
