  • 1 cup water or low-sodium broth
  • Flavoring (honey, lemon juice, or herbs)
  • Optional sweeteners (stevia, agave)

Instructions

  1. Choose your base: For a drink, hot water works; for cubes, use broth or juice heated to steaming point (around 190°F / 88°C).
  2. Measure gelatin: Use about 1 tablespoon of gelatin for every cup of liquid. If using sheets, soak them in cold water for 5-10 minutes until soft.
  3. Combine: If using powered gelatin, sprinkle into hot liquid and stir until completely dissolved (about 2-3 minutes).
  4. Flavor it up: Add your choice of flavorings (honey, lemon, or herbs) and stir to combine.
  5. Pour and chill (for cubes): Pour mixture into a mold or shallow dish, cool at room temperature for 15-20 minutes, then refrigerate for at least 2 hours until set.
  6. Enjoy! Serve the warm drink immediately or cut cubes into bite-sized pieces to enjoy as a healthy snack.
